Dustbuster 1 is a dust wetting additive consisting of a blend of special surfactants which increase the ability of water to wet and suppress road dust.

Dustbuster 1 is used at a very low dilution rate, only one part product to 3000 parts of water. It is usually applied to the road bed by spraying from a water truck or by sprinkler systems.

The product works by reducing the surface tension of water, thereby increasing the number of water droplets available to wet the road. This allows deeper penetration of the treated water into the road surface which then takes longer to dry out (at least twice as long as normal)
